What is a crypto wallet?

A crypto wallet is digital storage where your cryptocurrencies and NFTs are stored and managed.

When you create a crypto wallet, it comes with two keys: a public key (a.k.a. wallet address) and a private key.

A wallet address (public key) is a randomly generated set of numbers and letters which represent a type of unique number similar to a bank account number. You can freely share your wallet address with others so that people can send cryptocurrencies to your address.

A private key, on the other hand, works like a password; anyone who knows your private key has full access to your wallet and can buy, sell or transfer any funds or assets. NEVER GIVE THIS KEY TO ANYONE. Neither OnePlanet nor any trustworthy individual or organization will ever ask for your private key.
